Our trip to southern Italy and San Marino wasn't at all planned out. We didn't have a clue where we would eventually spend that year's vacation. On the first day, we arrived in San Marino, and that's where our plans ended. I wanted to photograph it. An amazing city. Beautiful views. Originally, we wanted to spend the vacation near the town of Rimini, but the weather forecast drove us another 600 kilometers south. We were staying in a beautiful town of Vieste for a while, and we drove through the Gargano peninsula. Gorgeous beaches among the rocks. On the last day of our trip, it was supposed to be raining again, so we drove another 300 kilometers south to check out the town of Alberobello with its well-known houses called "trulli". On the way, we made a stop at a castle called Castel del Monte.
