I had only a little time for the trip to Turkey, so I chose a route through the most interesting places.
Cappadocia belongs among these places. Here, unique natural landscapes coexist with a weathered cave town and early Christian cave temples. Together, all these structures form a whimsical but a harmonious combination.
There were other spots that attracted my attention. I was excited to see Pamukkale which is in fact a huge snow-white travertine hill. And, within a short distance from these stone cascades, on the top of the hill, there are ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis.
I finished my trip in Istanbul, a city with a thousand years of history, located on the border between Europe and Asia.
